Thank you for choosing to work with us. Our goal is to provide all our students with a quality service. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our tutors, but other students as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding cancellations, rescheduling and refunds.

Cancellation and refund policy concerning private tutoring (one-on-one lessons):

  • Payments are accepted prior to the commencement of lessons.
    • If a Client cancels a prepaid package after the first session, they will be charged for that one session and the rest of the amount will be refunded.
    • No refunds will be given should the Client cancel a prepaid package after completing 2 or more lessons.
    • No refunds will be issued for lessons that have been completed. A lesson is considered completed if the tutor shows up for the session. Should the Client not attend (without sufficient prior notice outlined below), arrive late or terminate the lesson early for any reason, the lesson will be considered completed.
    • Refunds will be issued if a lesson or prepaid package is not completed by the tutor or if the service is terminated by Student Solutions 101.
  • Lessons not attended by the Client, for any reason, without giving their tutor 24 hours prior notice shall be charged at the full rate. If a Client notifies their tutor 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, the session is rescheduled to an alternative date and time that the Client and tutor agree upon.
  • No adjustment to fees shall be made for time lost because of late arrival by the student or by early termination of the session by the Client. Any lost time because of the late arrival of the tutor shall be compensated for by extending a lesson by mutual agreement and by such amount of time that was lost.
  • The tutor will wait fifteen minutes from the time of the scheduled session for the Client’s arrival before considering that session cancelled without sufficient prior notice and therefore subject to the terms set forth in the cancellation and refund policy.
  • If the tutor is unable to conduct a scheduled lesson for any reason and at any time prior to the start of the session notifies the Client, the student can select a date and time to reschedule the session.
  • Lessons in the package are valid for 1 calendar month (30 days) from purchase date. Any lessons not completed, for any reasons due to the Client, within the 30-day window will be forfeited and no refunds will be issued.
  • Please be mindful that maintaining regular tutoring sessions is important to improve educational attainment. While we represent the interest of both Client and tutor, if sessions are regularly rescheduled by the Client t (regardless of the length of notice given) and the tutor raises concerns, we may terminate the Client’s services.

Cancellation and refund policy concerning Booster Programs:

  • Payments are accepted prior to the enrolment in any programs.
    • Once a Client has enrolled, requests for refunds, including but not limited to those made by Clients who cannot attend or use the service, for any reason, will not be considered.
    • Refunds will be issued only if the service is cancelled by Student Solutions 101 or if the service is not completed by the tutor
  • It is the Client’s responsibility to review the class schedule and attend sessions. If the Client misses a session, a recording of the class is made available afterwards to watch. No refunds will be given for missed classes, for any reason.

Although we strive to deliver high-quality educational services, we cannot guarantee any specific outcomes for Clients as a result of our tutoring and programs. Our obligations, expressed or implied, to any Client or user are limited to what is explicitly stated in this agreement. It is worth noting that the cancellation and refund policy is subject to change, and we reserve the right to make changes to the policy at any time.
